We are passionate about serving exceptional quality coffee in beautifully curated spaces. We do this with two objectives in mind:
To harness the culture of coffee to cultivate new, creative opportunities for the youth in our community.
To cultivate and deliver the best coffee-consumer experience in Empangeni. In doing this, we balance both the social and the entrepreneurship spheres of social entrepreneurship.
We cultivate opportunity, one cup of coffee at a time - and invite our customers to be a part of that value creation, with every sip, bite and moment spent in our coffee shop. We do this by using coffee as a tool to unearth talent, cultivate hope and craft new opportunities for our team and our community. We invite each customer into that journey, as collaborators and contributors to this cultivation work - while they enjoy the delight of an expertly crafted coffee in a tastefully curated space.
Our baristas are trained to deliver exceptional coffee and a world-class customer experience because we believe that the hard and soft skills - the technique and touch - skilled hands, cool heads and warm hearts - the product-savvy, problem-solving and people-service skills are transferable and relevant to a vast array of professional fields. We believe that training our teammates to be excellent baristas is a skills bridge - either to further career progression in the world of coffee - or in any other professional field, they may dream of pursuing.
